Study on vineyard of Slope Area (2)

Abstract
The present experiment was conducted to investigate on the growth of grape and soil fertility of upper and lower parts in both naked and sod mulch areas as influenced by various slopes of vineyard.
In 1968, the soil culture of one year old grape seedlings(Variety: Campbell Early)was performed under the natural condition and following results was obtained in 1969(at the second growing season).
The mineral contents in the soil was generally more promoted in lever parts then in upper parts of slope areas.
According to the slope amount of sod mulch was not different in lower and upper parts.
The linear growth of the trees and the dry weight of leaves was more increased in lower parts than in upper parts.
The soil loss and the nitrogen content of soil loss was observed to become higher as the slope was steeper, especially it was much higher in the naked soil than that in the sod mulch areas.
The grapes have a good harvest in lower parts than in upper parts.
